If I could catch a rainbow….

If I could catch a rainbow,

I would share with you its beauty on the days you're feeling sad.

If I could buy you a mountain with a lake

It would be your own special place for tranquility.

If I could take your burdens away,

Then I would toss them into the deepest sea.

If I could, I would write you a book

 Just to show where one chapter ends then another one begins.

I cannot build a mountain,

Write you your own life’s book,

Or, catch a glorious rainbow.

No matter how hard I try. 

Nevertheless, I can be what I know best,

 ~~ A friend that will always be there.  ~~

I know that there is a reason for everything. 

Even though, I sometimes do not understand.

However, God has plans for you. 

Besides, the best is yet to come.

You will just have to believe in yourself,

Like I believe in you.
