Sometimes, we think that we have all the time.
As each day goes quietly away, we are losing time.
A day runs into a week and a week becomes a month.
And, before we know a month has become a year.
As we look back on that year, where did it go, we ask.
Oh, there is so much that I wanted to do.
I forgot to send that card to that sick friend.
Oh, she will understand that is what friends do.
But, why put something off for tomorrow,
When you can do that job for today.
Tomorrow never comes, for tomorrow becomes today,
And today becomes yesterday.
So, if you have that child who wants to play
then take the time.
For, that child will be grown tomorrow.
And, only her memories will remain.
So, live each day as if it is your last.
Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
Don't leave unfinished business to the very last.
Love your children, family, and friends
Like there is no tomorrow.
For, tomorrow may never come.
